EarthCraft House Building at Southface Energy Institute
November 21, 8 a.m. -5 p.m.

Thinking about sustainable building and how to accomplish it in building new homes?

EarthCraft House is a voluntary green building program of the Greater Atlanta HBA with its partner, Southface Energy Institute.  The program serves as a blueprint for healthy, comfortable homes that not only reduce utility bills but also protects the environment.  Any size or style of new home can be certified under the program by meeting EarthCraft House guidelines.

The advantages of building an EarthCraft House are:
•    Reduced callbacks
•    Product differentiation
•    Increased profit
•    Access to Energy Mortgage Programs

Attend this session and learn:
•    How to apply high performance construction techniques to new homes
•    How to improve the energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and durability of those homes
•    How to certify a new home as an EarthCraft House

EarthCraft House’s technical staff will teach the session.  Attend this class to find out how your building can make a difference!

Note: To become an EarthCraft House builder, you must attend an EarthCraft House class and then submit an application (along with the application fee) to the Greater Atlanta HBA.

Cost: $75 Greater Atlanta HBA member, $100 other HBA member, $150 non-member
Cont. Ed: 7 AIA, 6 CPHB, 6 GA Bldr License
