Green Building: Risks and Realities
June 29, 9 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

Do you know the risk and rewards of building "Green"?

Everyone in the home building industry has heard of "Green Building". Some people embrace the term "Green Building"; others prefer "High Performance Construction". Many construction professionals cast a skeptical eye at the whole movement. Nearly all suspect that there are risks involved, but don’t know what they are. This class can help both skeptics and the enthusiasts to recognize not only the risks but also some very enlightening realities that will help any building professional excel.

Tom Gotschall will facilitate the class.  Tom graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction and has a background in general contracting and construction & real estate dispute resolution. He has certifications in the Residential Code and the Building Code.  Tom is a seasoned arbitrator and a dynamic instructor and speaker on a host of construction topics.
