Make a difference and mentor today!

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) is proud to partner with Youth Connections! Youth Connections is a local group that has launched a program aimed at reaching and serving young people in Metro Atlanta who are interested in the homebuilding industry as a career.  This new program, Construction-Coaching Opportunities to Reach Employment (C-CORE), stems from the workforce development arm of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Nationwide, C-CORE programs will match 5,000 youths ages 16-18 with over 1,600 mentors recruited from the building industry, that is where YOU step in!  C-CORE needs mentors today!

The goal of the C-CORE program is to further strengthen young people’s commitment to an eventual career in any branch of the homebuilding industry, ranging from electricians, plumbers, and carpenters to real estate agents, interior designers, and architects, etc.

Are you ready to sign up?! For more information on the C-CORE program, including information on becoming a coach or a member, please contact Mildred Bethea at Youth Connections at 404-974-8213 or
