The NEW Georgia Energy Code for Residential Applications
March 15, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Are you prepared for the new energy code in 2011?!

The new energy code will take effect January 2011 and not only applies to new construction but also may apply to some remodeling and renovation projects! Join us for the half-day session that will help participants to understand the many provisions from the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code along with the associated Georgia Amendments that will give Georgia some of its most stringent requirements. The focus will be on the residential portion of the code.

This session will be facilitated by Daniel Jewitt. Daniel has been developing and teaching construction-specific classes for over 14 years. He has taught the One & Two Family Dwelling Code for both the Greater Atlanta Home Builders and the Georgia Association of Home Inspectors. He has also been conducting training for the Georgia Construction Licensing Exams since June 2007. Daniel’s experience as a property inspector and an expert witness in legal cases are reflected in a very practical instructional approach.

Who should attend this session? All builders, remodelers and trade professionals should attend this session to stay on top of the latest code requirements!

Cost: $50 Greater Atlanta HBA member, $75 other HBA member, $150 non-member.
Cont. Ed: 3 CPHB, 3 GA Bldr License
