Home Builders Association Of Georgia Installs 2017/2018 Officers at Annual Fall Membership Conference
ASHEVILLE, North Carolina, September 14 – The Home Builders Association of Georgia (HBAG) recently installed their new officers for 2017/2018 at the HBAG Fall Membership Conference held at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Asheville, NC. Despite Hurricane Irma and travel delays, many local leaders in the home building industry came together over the course of 2 days to share knowledge and industry expertise. The installation ceremony was held on the final evening and Mr. Bobby Cleveland was sworn in as HBAG President.

2017/2018 HBAG President Bobby Cleveland is a third generation and 30+ year veteran in the building industry from the HBA of Middle Georgia. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to HBAG. Tom Standard, Bobby’s grandfather, was an active builder and served as HBAG President in 1957. Bobby’s father, Bob Cleveland, was also very active with both HBAG and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). You could easily say that home building is in Bobby Cleveland’s blood. This is evident through the time and energy he pours into his local HBA and HBAG. In addition to serving as President for HBAG, he is a Past President of the HBA of Middle Georgia and a Life Director for NAHB. Bobby graduated from the University of Georgia and received his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Denver. He has been involved in the development of projects throughout the Southern United States with an aggregate value of over $800,000,000. While he has extensive experience with all product types; his career focus has been on the development and management of luxury multi-family properties. His areas of expertise cover development, finance, management construction, disposition and management of commercial and residential real estate. Bobby and his wife Elizabeth reside in Macon, Georgia.
