Atlanta PWB & KSU NAHB Care Day

On Friday, October 11, members of the Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) and Kennesaw State University National Association of Home Builders Student Chapter (KSU NAHB) joined HomeAid Atlanta to make improvements at Forsyth County Family Haven, Inc. Volunteers from the two groups worked diligently throughout the day to prep and paint a large apartment. The space is used as transitional housing for a family working to rebuild their lives after escaping a domestic violence situation. Forsyth County Family Haven (FCFH) is the only shelter of its kind in Forsyth County. HomeAid Atlanta firmly believes that homeless serving facilities should be welcoming, dignified environments that provide respite to families that had suffered through terrible experiences. Thank you to the hard working volunteers who painted the apartment with great care!
