The Young Gassers CPA Student Scholarship, valued between $1,000 - $1,500, is sponsored by the International Association of Young Gassers. This scholarship is a member benefit and is provided to family members or employees of CPA-member companies who are planning/pursuing post-secondary education at a Canadian vocational or trade school, community college, or university.
The Wendell King Memorial Bursary, presented for the first time in 2021, is valued at $2,500 and has been created by Diverso Supply Inc. in memory of the passing of Wendell King, a long-time advocate of the propane industry. Applicants must be planning a career in the propane industry and pursuing post-secondary education at a Canadian vocational or trade school, community college, or university. Being associated with a member of the CPA is not a requirement.
