This past January, The Honourable Stanley Cho, parliamentary assistant to the Ontario Minister of Finance, invited the CPA to provide recommendations to government on how to contribute to the province’s fiscal health.
CPA Government Relations Director Marcelline Riddell submitted a response on February 11, outlining how industry and member initiatives align with government priorities. The submission details how the propane sector contributes to community economic development and the overall provincial economy. The CPA is following up with a letter to Minister of Finance Rod Phillips on specific measures to advance the propane sector and help level the playing field with other fuels.
