On August 31, 2018, the Ontario Ministry of Transportation released a statement announcing the end of the Electric and Hydrogen Vehicle Incentive Program as of July 11, 2018.

 

The CPA continues to call upon the Government of Ontario to recognize the advantages that auto propane offers to the commercial vehicle sector. The CPA continues to call for the establishment of an auto propane commercial vehicle incentive program and will be scheduling meetings with the Ministry of Transportation to discuss the propane industry’s proposal in the coming weeks.
