Nova Scotia released its budget on March 25, 2021.

Highlights for the propane sector include:

  • $26 million for a New Green Fund program to address climate change.
  • $16.4 million for infrastructure projects aimed at helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
  • $7.6 million for active transportation and public transit.
  • $29.1 million will be spent to provide more safe, suitable and affordable housing.

The CPA is following these investments closely and communications with Premier Rankin, relevant cabinet ministers, as well as the Leader of the Opposition have been undertaken to ensure proapne is at the forefront of discussions.
