The Manitoba Propane Committee (MPC) held their meeting and annual golf tournament June 19-20 in Hecla.

Discussions included CPA’s efforts to obtain exemptions for propane for agricultural uses and home heating, the process to ratify the common Canadian CRN number, updates on PTI training modules, an update on the Office of the Fire Commissioner (OFC)-MPC Working Group, Environmental emergency regulations that come into effect August 24, 2019 and PTI module updates.

The Committee discussed the upcoming Manitoba election and The PROPANE Advantage: For a Low Emission Canada brief the CPA has created for the upcoming federal election to meet with politicians of all parties.

The meeting, reception, and golf were all successful and the Committee, once again, put on a wonderful two-day event for the industry in Manitoba. The CPA thanks all sponsors and participants.
