Food Shippers of America Launches Brand Marketing Initiative

Food Shippers of America (FSA) is introducing a modernized branding initiative to better reflect the current relevance of its mission and member value proposition. This effort includes a newly designed website, refreshed digital and in-print logistics magazine, enhanced digital newsletter and redesigned logo. Food Shippers has engaged MindShare Strategies to assist with this branding update which will begin in the fourth quarter of 2021.

FSA continues to bring together a community of supply chain and logistics professionals from the food and beverage industry and their suppliers in order to facilitate education and networking opportunities and enable supply chain efficiency improvements.

“We have taken feedback from our members and key stakeholders as guidance in making significant improvements in these key areas,” said Steve Stein, president of FSA. “As an organization we are looking to capitalize on our strength as a premier trade association that will continue to serve the supply chain and logistics functions in the food and beverage industry. The newly designed approach to our communication platforms and the redesigned logo are initial steps to increase the value that our members receive from being part of Food Shippers. We believe the new logo visually illustrates what our members do everyday: orchestrate the food supply chain from field to the end-consumer through the execution of well-planned transportation and logistics strategy.”

According to Stein, Food Shippers was founded in 1955 and currently serves many types of member organizations involved in the food and beverage industry, ranging from growers, manufacturers, processors and ingredients companies to wholesalers, retailers, and distributors. In addition, providers such as motor carriers, third-party logistics companies, warehousing companies, railroads, maritime players, and technology innovators are engaged in the association.

FSA has built a strong reputation for the quality of its annual conference. The 2022 Food Shippers Annual Conference is scheduled to take place Feb. 20-22 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida. In addition to returning to its in-person annual conference, Food Shippers is investing significant resources to strengthen access to relevant content and best practices for food shippers through its social media channels, print and digital magazine, digital newsletter and new website.   More information on these efforts will be forthcoming over the next few weeks.
