Truckload Service Value

Gordon Trucking is considered to be one of the safest and most reliable large truckload carriers in the industry and is also committed to economic, social and environmental sustainability.

Safety:  Gordon Trucking’s first priority is safety.  The company operates a fleet of late model Freightliner Columbia and Cascadia trucks that is meticulously maintained to ensure that the equipment is fit to share the highways with civilian motorists.  Trucks are equipped with the latest safety technology systems, including lane departure, roll stability, engine rpm, speed and rapid deceleration monitoring and electronic hours of service management.  Additionally, Gordon Trucking adheres to pre-employment screening and driver training standards that exceed regulatory guidelines, including pre-employment hair testing and Smith System safety training for all professional drivers.  We encourage customers to compare our CSA Basic percentiles against other truckload carriers which can be verified by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Safety Measurement System.

Service:
GTI provides truckload services to some of the most successful companies in North America. Our people, equipment and technology allow us to consistently deliver service that meets or exceeds the expectations of our customers.  Load planning and relay optimization software helps to manage equipment, driver and load variables to ensure the right planning decisions are being made each and every time.  Dynamic geographical fleet monitoring tools help operations personnel monitor and manage potential late pickups or deliveries in real time.

Sustainability:
GTI is committed to economic, social and environmental sustainability.  The company has been in business since 1946, demonstrating financial discipline during economic downturns while conservatively growing the business.  Gordon Trucking is considered an industry leader in environmental responsibility and has won the Environmental Protection Agency’s Smartway Excellence award for two consecutive years.  Social responsibility is also something that Gordon Trucking takes a tremendous amount of pride in, giving support to national and global disasters as well as continually supporting our local communities.
