Food Shippers of America member companies are food manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers of food and beverage related product. The companyís core business is in manufacturing, distributing or acting as a wholesaler or retailer of food and beverage products with a minimum of 51% of the corporationís gross annual revenue derived from being a manufacturer, distributor, wholesaler or retailer of these products.

Our organization is in its 57th year and includes some of the most prominent Consumer Product Goods companies and retailers from around the U.S. They represent a significant group of supply chain professionals that are responsible for much of the efficiency in the distribution of food in the U.S. market. We look forward to an excellent annual conference Ė  "Whatís in Your Logistics Bunker?" scheduled for February 26-28, 2012, at the Rosen Shingle Resort in Orlando, Florida.  The conference is attended by about 800 people and represents not only member companies, but also many leading transportation companies (trucking, intermodal, 3PLís, railroad, etc.). It provides a one-stop opportunity for any of your supply chain needs.

Food Shippers is blessed with an outstanding group of sponsors and volunteers who plan the conference each year and make sure that it runs smoothly. There is an excellent opportunity to network and connect with these individuals and their companies by being a part of this exceptional group of professionals who take pride in this major event each year. From the accommodations to the golf, the program and entertainment, this conference is a high quality event we all can enjoy each year.

Food Shippers also has a new website, , where there is information on conference registration and other important topics, including past conferences, attendees and related topics. In addition, the Food Shippers Board of Directors information is listed along with the contact information for Executive Director Royce Fisk. From our recently established John Murphy Scholarship to strategic alliances with Food Banks and the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN), FSA is on the move and looking toward the innovation that will make the food industry more efficient and effective.
We welcome your inquires, involvement and support.

See you in Orlando!
