Am I Helping or Hurting the Attorney Who Hired Me?

Date: May 19 at 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Join the South Region for an opportunity to understand how expert witnesses can help, and not hurt, an attorney’s case. Attorney Denise Brown will provide a brief presentation along with candid dialogue in a lengthy, thorough question and answer session. Are you ready to be the expert witness that every attorney wants to hire? Are you ready to successfully testify remotely? Sign up now for an hour with an attorney as your private coach! This course has been approved for 1 CFLC credit.

During this presentation participants will learn the following:

  • Advanced attendees will understand how to work beyond their assignment portions, and in the light of the attorney’s goals.
  • Beginner participants will identify appropriate limitations of testimony in depositions and the courtroom.
  • Participants will be able to work effectively, properly, and productively with the attorney’s support team.
  • Attendees will demonstrate skills for keeping communications limited and correspondences out of the hotspot spotlight.
  • All levels of participants will better understand the perspective of the hiring attorney.
  • All levels of attendees will be able to describe actions that help attorneys, and not hurt their cases.
  • All levels will understand the serious cautions, and the promoted performances, involving remote testimony appearances.
