Industry News

Most lawyers pay their bills. On occasion, an expert witness will submit a bill that goes unpaid. If a lawyer disputes the legitimacy of the bill, calm communication will often resolve the problem. If the lawyer doesn’t want to pay because the case went south and the lawyer doesn’t want to pay expenses from his own pocket, the expert may need to sue to collect fees.
