Scott Riffenburgh is one of FEWA’s newest members and has joined the Orange County Chapter. Scott is a construction/project manager specializing in building science and engineering, where he plans, manages, and certifies building upgrades for owners, architects, and contractors. He often work with energy efficiency, sustainability, and green financing programs. Scott is also very passionate about the value of applying building science to projects, and has worked hard to attain a considerable array of credentials.

Join the Forensic Expert Witness Association in Houston for the 2020 National Conference! April 17-18, 2020.

Attorneys, legal professionals, and expert witnesses gather annually for the Forensic Expert Witness Association (FEWA) National Conference - the Conference for Experts in all fields and of all experience levels.

We will be featuring a faculty of 18 outstanding speakers including Chief Justice Nathan Hecht, nationally renowned attorney Chip Babcock, and United States District Judge, David Hittner.

Eli Lilly General Counsel Michael Harrington examines why amending Rule 702 on expert testimony is a good idea. He says a clarifying amendment would go a long way toward ensuring that insufficient and unpredictable standards won’t interfere with just outcomes in courts of law.

Expert witness depositions in drug and device cases provide critical evidence necessary to ensure a trial victory. That is not a secret. Many drug and device cases live and die on the quality and credibility of the expert testimony.
