When Hurricane Milton hit western North Carolina, AFA Veterans in Fence member Shawn Holland, vice president of Seegars Fence Company, led a team to aid in recovery. Armed with tools from Seegars, help from a local landscape company, and church-provided supplies, they cleared downed trees, repaired roads, restored highway access, and even fixed a generator for a mountain resident. “The devastation was hard to see, but making a difference was unforgettable,” Shawn shared.

This November, we’ll be reaching out with the annual Government Relations Committee survey, and your input is vital. Your responses will directly influence AFA’s 2025 policy agenda, which we’ll advocate for throughout the year with legislators who can support our industry’s goals. The Northern Ohio Chapter of AFA was thrilled to host another incredibly successful annual clay shoot at the Hill 'N Dale Club in Medina, Ohio, on September 20th. The event drew a sold-out crowd for a gorgeous day of shooting on a private course, plus a delicious steak dinner.
