Northern Ohio Chapter Clay Shoot - September 23, 2022

Sporting clays is shot with a shotgun of any gauge and any type. Over under, pump, side by side or semi autos are used. The club has ammunition and rental guns if you need them. Call ahead to Hill’nDale Club at (330) 723-5105 to reserve a shotgun. The various stations that you will go to will give you approximately 6 to 8 targets to shoot and you can choose to shoot a course of 50 or 100 clay pigeons. It doesn't matter whether you are an expert shot, or have never shot a gun before – you will have a great time! If you are a novice shooter, we can team you up with an experienced companion who will "coach" you through the event. The South course will be open and available to those of us who choose a “softer course.” There are 50 targets on the South course and they are different from last year. Of course, the course in the woods is available to anyone choosing it, or you can combine them for a total of 100 targets if preferred.

Our sporting clay event will be open to AFA members and non-members. The cost for the event is $70.00 per person which includes dinner. If you are unable to pull yourself away for the afternoon, please join us for the steak dinner which will follow the event. The cost of the steak dinner will be $35.00 per person.

There will be no alcohol consumption prior to the event; however, alcohol is welcome at dinner. Hill’nDale does not have a liquor license, so this is a BYOB event. Soft drinks and water will be provided with dinner.  

We are asking suppliers for both financial and participation support. Along with your financial support you will receive the opportunity to display your products. Also, if you would like to donate door prizes or handouts, please let us know.
