National Vinyl Products (NVP), a domestic producer of vinyl fence profiles, has broken ground on a new 30,000-square-foot fabrication facility in Nephi, Utah that will double the company’s production capacity.

National Vinyl Products President John David Hadfield and Nephi City Council members Greg Rowley and Larry Ostler, join employees of NVP Fence at the ground breaking of the new $7 million production facility in Nephi, Utah on Oct. 12, 2017.

The $7 million project will allow NVP to increase extrusion capacity and the development of new fence profiles and colors to add to their product offerings. The expansion also includes renovations to the exterior and interior of the existing structure to provide a seamless flow of production materials for assembly, packaging and shipping.

Barco Construction has been named the general contractor, with CKR Engineers and Focus Engineering as the construction partners on the venture. The completion date will be Spring 2018 and it is anticipated 20 new jobs will be added to the Nephi area.

"We are excited for the expansion of National Vinyl Products and what it means to the growth and vitality of Juab County," said Brent Boswell, Juab County economic development director. "The growth of manufacturing companies in our area helps to showcase our county as an attractive place to do business while providing meaningful careers to the skilled and talented residents of Nephi City and sounding communities."

"National Vinyl Products is committed to supporting the growth and success of our customers through high-quality products, a variety of fence profiles, and outstanding customer service," said John David Hadfield, president of NVP. "We are excited to be growing our company, while supporting our local economy."

In 2001, National Vinyl Products was formed as a distributor of vinyl fencing and related items, focused on serving vinyl fence fabricators and retailers across the western United States. NVP’s next phase of growth came in 2004 when it opened a state-of-the-art extrusion facility in Nephi, Utah to manufacture high quality vinyl fence profiles. Since that time, this facility has continued to expand in technology, production capacity and product offering to meet the growing needs of its customers. NVP currently sells fence profiles to distributors and contractors across North America. All materials manufactured by NVP are made in the USA.
