What's New in the FAA
FAA staff had high praise for Bay County Multi-housing Association's "Cruise out of Summer and Sail into Fall" Trade Show earlier this month. The show at the Holiday Inn Select in Panama City was well attended, and Annika Cline, BCMHA's new director, did a phenomenal job. Attendees were engaged and interested in learning more about all that the association has to offer.

FAA University is promising to be the biggest Annual Conference & Trade Show ever presented by the Florida Apartment Association. How do we know this? Our host hotel has already sold out in record time! But not to worry: We've arranged accommodations at the nearby Meliá Orlando Suite Hotel at Celebration.

Now that the legislative session is over, APAC fundraising is in full swing, and the biggest APAC fundraiser of all time is right around the corner. The APAC Campus Challenge is THE event at which to be seen supporting APAC! Plus, it’s a fun and exciting way to participate with your property management team or best clients to benefit APAC.

What's New Nationally
Following reports of abuses, in which more than 25,000 families making more than the 2014 eligible income limits were still residing in affordable housing developments, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is considering development of legislation to provide authorities with the power to evict those residents from their properties.

Achieving success tomorrow requires one to take care of business today — that's why leading communities turn to the 2015 NAA Income & Expense Survey in Rental Apartment Communities (IES). Results of the 27th annual IES are available on the NAA site. And more than 50 video and audio-synced PowerPoint recorded sessions from the 2015 NAA Education Conference & Exposition can be ordered HERE.

As an RPM Careers ambassador, I tell job seekers my story so that more people are aware of all the opportunities our industry has to offer. When candidates contact me, I tell them how I started as an apartment-hunter and ended up becoming the director of residential services for Milhaus Management
