Tracy Williams, ARM, CAM, CAPS, of WRH Realty Services, Inc. in Jacksonville was honored as 2012’s Professional Designate of the Year, as part of the Paragon Awards during the 2012 National Apartment Association Education Conference and Exposition on June 29, which was held at the Boston Convention Center. The NAA Paragon Awards recognizes excellence and leadership within the multifamily industry.

Tracy was honored for her noteworthy contributions she has made to the multifamily industry. She serves as a regional director for WRH Realty Services, overseeing a mixed portfolio of more than 2,500 affordable and conventional units in Southern Georgia and North Florida. Tracy's portfolio also consists of several properties located in the Arlington submarket in Jacksonville, which has been dubbed the nation's "highest vacancy market" in the U.S. during the recent economic downturn. Despite the challenging conditions, she was able to prevail and lead her properties to incredible success.

During 2011, several of Tracy’s properties achieved remarkable successes both within WRH as well as at the First Coast Apartment Association’s (FCAA) Annual Circle of Excellence Awards. Some of the accolades awarded to her portfolio include: lowest turnover, most improved rental income, highest rental income, lowest controllable expense, affordable property of the year and several of her team members were recognized for outstanding work.

Tampa-based Valet Waste has added Martin Taylor as Vice President of National Partnerships and Strategic Business Development. Based in Atlanta, Martin will be responsible for managing national portfolio clients for Valet Waste.

Martin is a multifamily housing industry veteran and National Apartment Association Lyceum graduate with a proven track record of developing and growing sales organizations. Prior to joining Valet Waste, he was Vice President of Sales for LexisNexis, leading the resident screening business.

Dallas, TX-based Lincoln Property Company was named on Dallas Business Journal's list of 2012 Best Places to Work. On Sept. 27, 2012, a luncheon will be held to reveal the exact rankings for all the 2012 Best Places to Work.

Lincoln Property Company will be listed along with 14 others winners under the large company category for Best Places to Work at the luncheon. The company will be recognized in a special edition of the Dallas Business Journal on Sept. 28, 2012. Employees of Lincoln Property Company completed a survey administered by an independent research firm regarding a variety of aspects of the work lifestyle at the company.
