While hiring has slowed since the beginning of the year, finding quality talent is still a top pain point, with 55% of members looking to hire in the near future. The Electrical Association understands how busy our members are and we already have staff attending career events and developing pathways into the electrical industry for you. We also have career event literature available for members to purchase if you are heading to represent your company at an event near you.
We understand that all businesses don’t have time to spend a day at a career event, which is why we want to represent you! New to EA is your ability to sponsor and showcase your brand at an event near you. For a few extra dollars you can increase your visibility without lifting a finger.
Reasons to Attend a Career Fair
- Talent Acquisition: Career fairs are excellent opportunities to meet a large pool of potential candidates in a short amount of time. This can be more efficient than traditional hiring processes.
- Brand Awareness: Attending career fairs helps small businesses increase their visibility and brand recognition among job seekers, other companies, and your community.
- Networking: These events provide a platform to network with other businesses, educational institutions, and industry professionals, which can lead to valuable partnerships and collaborations.
- Market Insights: Engaging with job seekers can offer insights into current trends, skills in demand, and expectations of the workforce, helping businesses stay competitive.
- Company Culture Promotion: This is your chance to show case your company culture and values, which can attract candidates who are a good fit for your organization.
- Immediate Hiring Needs: If a business has urgent hiring needs, career fairs can help fill positions quickly by conducting on-the-spot interviews and making immediate offers.
The electrical industry is competing with every other industry to find good talent. The good news is we are highly competitive. We offer a great career with excellent wages and benefits. Don’t forget to participate in our Wage & Benefit Survey.
Can't Attend a Fair?
The Electrical Association attends 125 events a year with 5,000 job seekers. We are putting the electrical industry in front of young, new talent. And we are introducing a new sponsorship option for your company to be represented at these events. With our sponsorship program, your brand can have a strong presence at career fairs across the state without stepping away from your business. A small investment helps put the electrical industry in front of young talent, sparking new career ambitions.
What do our sponsors receive?
- Logo recognition at each career fair throughout the year (annual and individual sponsors)
- Ability to provide company logo'd swag to be handed out at the career fair (individual sponsors)
- Ability to provide our representative at the fair a piece of your company's logo'd apparel to wear at the event

- Investment: $50 annually or $175 individual career fairs (career fair sponsorships are available to members only)
