Chad Kurdi Celebrates 10 Years with BKV Group

If you've taken classes with us, you've probably heard Chad's name. He is an instructor for our Code continuing education classes and our 2-day Exam Prep Crash Course. His credentials are too many to list here but he just passed his 10-year anniversay as a Senior Electrical Engineer at BKV Group.
From Chad:
Allow me to share the following milestones that I have been honored to be part of achieving as a Senior Electrical Engineer in the last 10 years:
- Buildings built, remodeled, or assessed: 206
- Buildings currently under construction: 40
- Buildings currently under design: 77
- Future projects in the pipe: 67
- Dead/hold Projects : 113

- States in which I am a Licensed Engineer: 37

Just a few of Chad's credentials include Class A Master Electrician in Minnesota & Professional Electrical Engineer in 37 States; Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & master’s degree in Adult Education; 28 Years of Experience in the Electrical Industry as Trainer, Electrician, Electrical Engineer & Director; 12 years of training experience at Dunwoody.
His expertise includes NEC, wiring, project engineering, designing, estimating & management.
He is a board member on NCEL, Chair of IEEE Twin Cities Chapter, Vice president of IAEI Minnesota Chapter, board member of BKV Group and former MN Board of Electricity member.
Awards include Special Contribution to Industry Award (EA 2017), Exceptional Contribution to Industry Award (EA 2012), Outstanding Technical Teacher Award Finalist, (ATEA 2011), Industry Partnership Award (EA 2009), President's Award for Teaching Excellence (Dunwoody 2007) & Director's Award for Outstanding Achievement (Dunwoody 2003).
