In this month’s webinar, we hear from our friends in Salt Lake about a unique approach to pursuing APEX/ASTM certification. While many organizations have applied and been awarded APEX/ASTM certification, this method is striving for multiple certifications in one partnership-driven process. The collaborative relationship between the Salt Palace Convention Center and their partners looks to achieve five different certifications at the same time. The Salt Palace Convention Center, South Towne Exposition Center, Visit Salt Lake, Utah Food Services, and PSAV talk a bit about their team approach to sustainability in Salt Lake. The goal of this webinar is to help organizations in the industry maximize their closest partnerships in the pursuit of lower carbon footprints. Speakers: Gaylis Linville, Director of Communications, SMG; Chance Thompson, Green Team Chair and Guest Relations Manager, SMG; Rick Medina, Facility Director, SMG; Doug Curry, Facilities Manager, Utah Food Services; and Ian Taylor, Director of Operations, PSAV.
