Is 2014 the Year Your CMP Expires?

If you’ve already satisfied the recertification requirements, submit your application now and save $25. After August 30, 2014, the fee to recertify will be $250.

You’ll need to have both professional experience and continuing education clock hours to recertify your CMP.

Here are the requirements:

Professional Experience (2 options)
  1. Employment in the industry, full-time or part-time, for a minimum of 36 of the last 60 months.
  2. Employment as a full-time or part-time instructor of meeting, event, exhibition or hospitality/tourism management at an educational institution or in a university program, for a minimum of 36 of the last 60 months. 
Continuing Education (3 options)
  1. Continuing Education – 25 clock hours of industry-related continuing education within the past five (5) years.
  2. Continuing Education and Industry Support Activities – 15 clock hours of industry-related continuing education within the past five years and participating in at least three of the following activities:
