CIC Celebrates New Hall of Leaders Recognition Pavilion

CIC spent a full year redesigning the exhibit and building a website incorporated into it to tell the personal stories of success and to house videos collected about many of the 111 meeting industry professionals who have been inducted into the Hall of Leaders since 1984. Now interactive, what was once a static exhibit is made up of engaging touchscreens where the public can view photos, videos and biographies of the inductees. Not just accessible at the convention center, the Hall of Leaders website, a vault of historical information on the inductees, is available online at http://www.conventionindustry.org/VHoL.

"The Hall of Leaders who came before us and those who will come after us serve as a living history of the meetings industry," said Robert Gilbert, president and CEO of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International and 2014 Chair of the CIC Board of Directors. "Never before have we had such a complete collection of the legends and trailblazers who shaped meetings, available for everyone to access and become inspired."
