Congratulations to the CMPs Awarded Emeritus Status in 2013

Emeritus status is an honorary title CIC bestows on those who have been actively certified and then retire from the field. This allows you to keep your designation although you are no longer working in the meetings industry. 

Retired CMPs may qualify to receive Emeritus status if they meet all of the following requirements:

•You are at least 59.5 years of age,
•You are retired and no longer working in the meetings industry, and
•You have held the CMP good standing for at least 10 years.

To apply for Emeritus status, you must submit a 300-500 word essay describing how the CMP designation has helped you in your professional life and why it is important to retain it. Please visit our website for more information and the Emeritus application.
