MPI Celebrates its 50th Anniversary

EIC's valued member, Meeting Professionals International, recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Amy Calvert, CEO of Events Industry Council said “MPI has been a long-standing and engaged member of the Events Industry Council and we would like to wish our friends and colleagues at MPI our warmest congratulations on the Association’s 50th anniversary milestone. MPI has played a key leadership role for the events industry over the last 50 years in building a globally community of inspired and passionate professionals and through the development of outstanding contributions education, resources, and events. The MPI foundation has played an important role in providing much needed support to strategic research projects including generous support of our Global Economic Significance study and the EIC Centre for Sustainability and Social Impact including our Equity Acceleration Plan and most recently providing financial aid to Ukrainian hospitality students in need. Their efforts have left a legacy impact and have helped to ensure our resilient future. We are grateful."
