The Biden administration's planned COVID-19 vaccine rule will exacerbate the supply chain crisis by reducing the available workforce, especially if the Dec. 8 deadline remains intact, says Eric Hoplin, president and CEO of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors. "If tens or hundreds of thousands of employees are terminated just two weeks before Christmas ... the result could be nothing short of catastrophic for the newly unemployed and their families and for the US economy," Hoplin wrote in a letter to the Biden administration. Mark your calendar, November 16, 2021, if you plan to participate in MHEDA's 2022 Exhibitor Showcase in Orlando. The first step in the selection process will begin on Tuesday, November 16 at 10:00 a.m. CT when members will complete an online Booth Request Form.
