The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its October 2019 Booked Orders increased 17.2% when compared to October 2018 orders. October 2019 booked orders when compared to September 2019 booked orders were down 40.2%.
On January 1, 2020, MHEDA officially welcomed Darin Boik, Advanced Equipment Company, Tom Duck, Tri-Lift, NC, and Pete Womack, Riekes Equipment Company to the MHEDA Board of Directors, and Chad Uplinger, EnerSys, to the MHEDA MBOA. Mike Wall, CSI Materials Handling, Ted Springer, Springer Equipment Company, Tom Albero, Alliance Material Handling, John Gelsimino, All Lift Service Co., and Mike Vaughan, Liftech Equipment Companies, make up MHEDA's Executive Committee. MHEDA would also like to thank Scott Lee, Connie Costner, Jeff Darling and Hal Ingram for their service on the MHEDA Board of Directors and Dick Davidson for his service on the MBOA.
