On April 24, OSHA plans to consult the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH) on its proposed regulatory framework for the Heat Injury and Illness Prevention in Outdoor and Indoor Work Settings rule.

The ACCSH meeting is open to members of the public and will be announced in the Federal Register at least 15 days prior to the scheduled meeting. AGC will share the meeting details as soon as they become available. The meeting details will also be posted on the ACCSH webpage.

AGC encourages all members to participate in the meeting to learn more about how OSHA plans to regulate heat in construction. If interested, members of the public can also register to offer comments. - AGC National

The Professor Michael Fairchild Memorial Endowed Scholarship will support undergraduate construction management students with academic merit and financial need and will be a fitting tribute to Mike’s commitment to educating future generations of construction management professionals.
