The producer price index for final-demand goods in construction fell 1.6% in May, with energy prices leading the way with a 6.8% decline, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Downtrends have been noted in lumber, structural metal and plastic, although cement, concrete and plumbing fixtures are expected to see price increases. - Dodge Data & Analytics
