These quarterly meetings are open to all AGC members and serve to provide a forum for open discussion of current industry issues impacting private vertical contractors, to educate members on important policy, delivery methods and contracting topics, along with engagement opportunities for members, but most importantly for us to hear from you. This Teams meeting will provide private, vertical contractors the opportunity to connect and network with contractor colleagues who are engaged in National AGC.

We’re all aware of the impact the pandemic had on our industry in early days as jobsites shut down, HVAC systems were improved and social distancing measures were implemented in our existing spaces. Now after three years we’ve seen architecture and construction impacted in many expected and unexpected ways. Join us as we take a look at the impacts we still feel and those we anticipate will endure for years to come and discuss how architecture and construction firms are preparing for the road ahead.

This is an instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive. Skills covered in this course include first aid for sudden illnesses, injuries and protection from blood-borne pathogens, choking relief and sudden cardiac arrest for adults. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety course is intended for supervisors or for workers with some safety responsibility. It provides a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards than the TEXO Safety First class. Topics include recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards found in the workplace.

There are many different anchorage connector solutions on the market, ensuring proper installation is key. Miguel Campos, Territory Sales Manager with GUARDIAN, will provide the manufacturer’s instructions that focus on proper installation and the limitations of the products. The goal of the presentation is to present trade/task specific solutions for common and difficult situations in the field via an open discussion forum. In addition, we will have different anchorage connector solutions and mock installation scenarios.

AIA Dallas and TEXO Association proudly present the Ninth Annual Bark Build Design/Build Competition to benefit SPCA of Texas' Home for the Holidays event! Team up to create one dynamic doghouse or cat condo entry. The Kickoff Party is free and open to potential team participants.
