Women in construction are not only working to build some of the country’s largest and most important projects, they also are leaders in another important area: helping to recruit more women into the industry. Many women in construction act as mentors, teachers and advocates to help elevate the industry and make it an attractive career option for other women. Out of more than 400 submissions, Construction Dive staff selected 31 talented women who stand as shining examples of how intuition, dedication and intelligence are shaping the industry.

TEXO's president and CEO Meloni Raney was spotlighted as an up-and-coming leader, known as a hard-working change agent in her companies and in the broader construction community. Congratulations, Meloni!

Earlier this fall, Keyan Zandy, CEO of Skiles Group, had the pleasure of moderating a panel for Lean Construction Institute’s Dallas/Fort Worth Community of Practice on the historic labor shortage in our industry. Their goal was to identify what we’re facing, understand why it’s happening and explore how we might change the trend and engage the next generation of construction workers.
