Each year, university students in construction programs travel to DFW to showcase their skills and connect with TEXO member companies about career opportunities. Students participate in three divisions: commercial, design-build and heavy civil. Teams are challenged with quick turn-around bid proposals and in-person presentations.

AECOM Hunt is serving as the construction manager for infrastructure work on the first phase of a $3-billion mixed-use project dubbed “The Mix” that is planned in Frisco, Texas.
The overall development includes 2 million square feet of office space, 375,000 square feet of retail, two hotels and 3 million square feet of residential space all built around a 9-acre park. The 112-acre site is located between the North Dallas Tollway and John Hickman Parkway.

The two-day TEXO OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program provides general awareness for entry or field-level construction workers. The training program covers recognizing, mitigating, and preventing hazards on a construction site. We have incorporated a virtual reality component to enhance the participants' engagement and connection to the material.
