Construction robots help Japan beat worker shortage
  

Finance & Commerce: Robots that can weld, lift and bolt are being developed to help bridge labor shortages at Japanese construction sites... The robots demonstrated at a Shimizu test facility in Tokyo can reduce the number of workers needed for each of the tasks they carried out to about a third or a fourth of what’s required today.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to identify the responsibilities of a flagger, describe the proper ways to place signs, describe the proper position for flagging, define the flagging procedures for stop, slow and proceed, and identify the correct procedures for various flagging situations.
