What's Happening at TEXOWhat's Happening at TEXO
Join us Thursday, October 2nd, as we introduce the construction industry to 800+ area students (9th-12th graders). Register your school to attend or your company to host a hands-on construction career experience for students at TEXO Foundation's 2025 Build Texas Proud Expo. Sponsorships are also available for companies to show your support!

What happens at Build Texas Proud Expo?
- Showcase of career pathways, job opportunities, and training programs
- Companies connect with the incoming workforce
- Networking of Companies, Individuals, and Educators

How the event works:
Registered schools arrive in waves at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., or 11 a.m. The students will have an industry volunteer (Ambassador) guiding them through the event to visit with company booths and demonstrations. Schools stay for about 2.5-3 hours. Lunch is provided for FREE for all students, vendors, and volunteers.
Connect with construction workforce development and HR leaders and take home practical solutions to solve your industry’s greatest challenges.

This new education experience will feature keynote speakers focusing on the intersection of workforce development and HR in the construction industry. The event also will feature networking opportunities, as well as optional workforce excursions and HR workshops.

If you’ve attended an HRTED Conference or Workforce Summit in the past, this event was designed with you in mind. And if you care about human resources and the need to develop the next generation of workers, this is definitely the event for you.
This premier Lean event brings together over 1,600 industry professionals—from owners and architects to contractors, trade partners, and Lean practitioners—for four action-packed days of learning, networking, and collaboration

Why You Should Be There:
