TEXO’s Young Constructors Council: Engaging Members and Bringing Value through Programming and Constructive Networking Opportunities

The TEXO YCC is excited to introduce our new Membership Program starting in 2014.  The TEXO YCC (Young Constructors Council) was formed over ten years ago and has become one of the most successful organizations for young construction professionals in the nation.  In our effort to continue to promote positive growth within the organization the 2013 Steering Committee and YCC member body have redeveloped the YCC membership application and recruitment process and additionally have created a "New Member Program" geared at fully engaging new members from the first month of membership.

The new membership process will be concentrated in a four month period once annually:

This new process will allow us to focus on recruiting the best young professionals in the industry for membership in the group.  The extended vetting period will allow the YCC members to get to know the new member applicants better as well as allow potential new members to learn more about the organization prior to joining.  After acceptance into the TEXO YCC new members will take part in the "New Member Program" starting in January that will consist of a new member retreat as well as planning and implementing a new member class project or philanthropy event.  The "New Member Program" will be a valuable tool in welcoming new members and building a relational foundation within the group.

In addition to our outward service and philanthropic efforts the TEXO YCC aims to bring value to our members through programming and constructive networking opportunities.  Through this new member process and program we will have the tools to continue improving our organization from day one of membership in the TEXO YCC.
