As the nation’s cyber defense agency, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) recently launched the Secure Cloud Business Applications (SCuBA) project that was funded through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. The project was established to develop consistent, effective, modern, and manageable security configurations that will help secure agency information assets stored within cloud environments.

The Forgen-Odin Joint Venture (JV) has been awarded CEPP EAA Reservoir Contract 11A for the foundation and cutoff wall features of the reservoir located in Palm Beach County, Florida. The contract, awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Jacksonville District, is the second construction contract awarded for the CEPP EAA Phase Reservoir for $308,432,100. If all options are exercised, the total contract value will equal $492,335,680.00.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), as the Sector Risk Management Agency for the Dams Sector, will be hosting a two-day Security and Protection of Dams and Levees Workshop. The workshop will take place on Nov. 8-9, in Kansas City, Missouri.

On Dec. 14 and 15, USACE and FERC are offering a training focused on the SQRA and L2RA process, the calculations and information required to complete an SQRA, and how the SQRA results are used by USACE and FERC.
