The Conference Technical Program Committee will meet in San Diego on Aug. 25 to determine the technical program for the 2022 Conference.  With more than 140 abstracts submitted for consideration, all abstracts have received numerous reviews by technical committee members and final determination will occur next week.  Authors will be notified on or about Aug. 31 if accepted.

Fall 2021 Workshop Series
While the workshops are still on the schedule to be held in Denver Oct 5-7, we are closely watching the COVID situation and will determine whether the program transitions to a virtual format by Aug. 31.

USSD Advocates for Passage of Infrastructure Bill
USSD Secretary-Treasurer Dina Hunt (Gannet Fleming) was instrumental in providing key information to Senator Ron Portman's office regarding the importance of infrastructure funding. Senator Portman was a leading supporter of the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill introduced in the Senate last week. The bill is scheduled to go to the House of Representatives by Aug. 23.
