Less than three weeks until the start of the 2021 Virtual Conference. Have you registered?

With a schedule spread out over a two-week period, you have the choice to participate in real time or later on-demand in USSD's Learning Center. Join us for three general sessions, approximately 58 topic-specific technical sessions, two workshops, and a myriad of networking opportunities to meet with companies in the marketplace or other attendees. You can also win some great prizes by participating in the USSD Step Challenge and Trivia game.
The Education & Training Committee opened its Call for Workshops for the Fall Workshop Series scheduled for Oct. 5-7, 2021 in Denver, CO.
 
Workshop proposals are due by May 28.
  
The Call for Papers for the 2022 conference in San Diego will open May 3. With what will be the first face-to-face conference in two years, we look forward to another excellent technical program under the leadership of Conference Technical Program Chair Joe Goldstein (Geosyntec).

Did you know that USSD sustaining and organizational level members can post open job positions for free? There is a $50 charge for individual members and $250 for nonmembers for each job opening. 
 
Your job openings are posted on the ussdams.org website as well as on USSD's social media sites. 
 
We're happy to announce that as part of our partnership working with Hydro Leader magazine, job postings will now also be included in future issues of the magazine, space permitting.

ICOLD News
The ICOLD Annual Meeting and Congress is scheduled for Nov 12-19, 2021. The French National Committee, host of this Congress, is seeking input to ascertain the willingness and intent on traveling to Marseille later this year. They have asked each of the National Committees to provide this information in time for the ICOLD board meeting, May 10.
