Martin Teal, P.E., P.H., D.WRE, has been promoted to president of WEST Consultants, Inc. Teal joined the firm as hydraulic engineer in 1993 and has served as senior vice president for the last five years. He succeeds founding president, Jeffrey Bradley, Ph.D., P.E., D.WRE, who passed away unexpectedly in September 2020.
MEDATech Engineering was recently awarded a project to combine water and sonic drilling technologies for Alabama's Southern Company's Hydro Services/Dam Safety Division.
The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) recognized nine WSP USA projects for Engineering Excellence Awards, including its top honor, the Grand Award, which was presented to the Lower Crystal Springs Dam Bridge replacement.

USACE Civil Works Update
Important update on efforts by USACE Civil Works to revolutionize the way they do business.
WRDA 2020 Comment Period and Stakeholder Sessions
The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will conduct a series of listening sessions to collect input and recommendations on development of implementation guidance for any provision contained in the Water Resources Development of Act of 2020 (WRDA 2020).
