2020 Canadian Water Summit - Online

We’re excited to announce that two new speakers will be joining the virtual Window on Ottawa, which is being held in conjunction with the 2020 Canadian Water Summit on June 11, 2020.
Hiran Sandanayake, chair of the Canadian Water and Wastewater Association’s (CWWA) Climate Change Committee, will be moderating a session with Deborah Harford, executive director of Simon Fraser University’s Adaptation to Climate Change Team.

They will explore whether Canadian municipalities are taking enough climate action. The speakers will also highlight what is currently being done, provide examples of roadblocks that municipalities have run into, and how those roadblocks have been overcome.
