The Federation of Canadian Municipalities now offers grants of up to $1 million for climate change capital projects.
This new funding will help municipalities like yours reduce greenhouse gas
emissions and adapt to climate change impacts, such as flooding, extreme
temperatures and drought.
Canadian cities and communities of all sizes are eligible to apply. Examples of
eligible capital projects include:

Larger grants may also be available.
Projects that are already underway may be eligible. All applications must be
submitted by January 2020.
