16th National Drinking Water Conference – Successful Event Brings Together Water Researchers, Managers and More

CWWA hosted the 16th National Conference on Drinking Water from October 26-29. The Conference was incredibly successful, attracting over 250 delegates, and featured presentations from water researchers, highlighting the innovative work being done by researchers across Canada.  Sessions focused on QMRA, microbiological threats, analytical methods and research into new treatment technologies and ways of optimizing and improving existing methods.

We also added sessions that addressed critical issues for water utilities, including pricing, optimization and more.  These sessions offered a great balance to the technical program, making the Conference even more valuable to CWWA members. The Canadian Water Network and WaterTap were critical partners in planning and facilitating these sessions we want to thank them for their participation.

CWWA is continuing our partnership with the charity Reach Haiti. Our Tradeshow and Reception featured HaItian themed food, dancing and a silent auction to raise funds towards a drinking water project in Haiti.

The support of our sponsors and exhibitors is vital to building this Conference. We’d like to acknowledge their contribution to the success of the Event.
