CWWA Board of Directors and New President

 

As of our Annual General Meeting of November 19th, CWWA has a new President in the person of Mike Darbyshire. Mike is the General Manager at the Alberta Capital Region Wastewater Commission (ACRWC) and has been serving the CWWA for the last two years as our Second Vice President then First Vice President. Mike says he is looking forward to an exciting 2015 as CWWA introduces its new consolidated conference strategy.

With Mike taking the reins, this moves Roland Richard to the Past President’s role where he supports the President and assists the Board in recruitment. But this also marks the departure of Neil Thomas from our Board. Neil is from Fredericton and has served as the New Brunswick rep on the Board for 6 years, including 4 years on the Executive. Neil played a very key role through a few hectic years of transition. Neil’s leadership and commitment to CWWA will be greatly missed by all. THANK YOU NEIL!

Rounding out the Executive are Colwyn Sunderland (BCWWA rep) as First Vice President, Nancy Kodousek (ON rep) as Second Vice President and Dwayne Kalynchuk (BC rep) serving his final year as Secretary-Treasurer. 

The Board also welcomes two new reps to the Board. Newfoundland and Labrador are, once again represented by Lynnann Winsor of St. John’s. Kendall Mason of Saint John has accepted the role as representative for New Brunswick. The Board welcomes these new members and their input.
