Window on Ottawa

CWWA hosted our annual Window on Ottawa from November 19-20. This event is a cornerstone of the Association, featuring presentations from federal departments on legislative and program initiatives that impact the sector. The Window also features our Annual General Meeting, and our Fall Board of Directors meeting.

We’ll have more about the Event and our Board meeting in the December issue, including any important governance decisions, but in the meantime we’d like to welcome our newest Board member Lynann Winsor from St. John’s Newfoundland representing Newfoundland. We’d also like to welcome our new president – Mike Darbyshire from the Alberta Capital Region Wastewater Commission. We’d like to thank Roland Richard for his hard work for the past year as our outgoing president and Neil Thomas from Fredericton who is leaving our Board.
