This November Niagara Falls is for Lovers...of Water

Over the last month we’ve been sharing session highlights with our contacts. We’ve got so many great sessions planned for the conference kicking off with our Opening Plenary featuring Grant Ainsley who will address "How to Get Heard Above the Noise." It can easily be argued it’s never been more important for Canada’s municipal water sector to communicate effectively with the general public. The list of issues seems endless. While costs are rising to provide safe drinking water and treat wastewater effectively, Canadians see drinking water as a right and many think they should get it almost free. Affordability has become an issue for water like everything else. Then there are continual stories in the media about safety concerns with water – shaking the faith consumers have in their tap water.

The question then becomes, how do you communicate effectively to tell your story?

We also have sessions on:

We know attending a conference is about more than just great technical sessions. The connections and networking is almost as important, so we've planned some great activities.

Opening Reception
Sunday, November 12
We are excited to kick off our first evening of the 2023 NWWC with our opening reception. This is a great chance to reconnect before we jump into the education portion of the event. At the Sheraton Fallsview this is a great chance to grab your name badge, check in with conference staff and enjoy some drinks and snacks before the official event kick off.

Power Hour and Night on the Town
Monday, November 13
Attendees are welcome to grab a cocktail and get to know the exhibitors in the industry and hear about the latest products, services, and newest innovations. After Power Hour, delegates are encouraged to enjoy a night on the town, try local restaurants and explore the city.

Conference Celebration Night –  Niagara Parks Power Station
Tuesday, November 14
From the most towering turbine to the tiniest detail, uncover fascinating stories hidden within the historic Niagara Parks Power Station, the newest must-see attraction in Niagara Falls. Attendees can descend 180 feet in a glass-paneled elevator and explore the 2,200-foot-long tunnel, leading to an observation deck at the river’s edge.

We hope you will join us and explore the first major power plant on the Canadian side of the Niagara River with restored artifacts and interactive storytelling. During our social event, feel the once-dormant power station come to life in a breathtaking interactive experience you’ll never forget!
