Window on Ottawa joins with Canadian Water Summit

June 10-12, 2020

Delta Ottawa City Centre

CWWA is excited to be partnering with the Canadian Water Summit to offer our usual program of federal policy and initiatives alongside the CWS. Together, we will help build important conversations on the policy and governance issues which are key to unlocking Canada’s blue economy.

The event is June 10-12, 2020 at the Delta Hotel in Ottawa. The first day will feature presentations from federal departments and organizations on policies and initiatives directly impacting the water and wastewater sector. This is not only a great time to become informed about the federal programs impacting our members, but also to provide feedback and interact directly with the policy makers. Year after year our members say this is the most valuable event they attend, it provides an invaluable opportunity to directly influence future federal policy initiatives and priorities.

If you’ve never attended the Water Summit before this partnership offers a great chance to check it out. With a much broader theme of "The Keys to a Blue Economy: Unlocking Water Policy, Governance and Technology in Canada,” it offers a much wider look at water management, engaging a very different cross section of stakeholders than CWWA events, which is an excellent opportunity to build new collaborations and a good reminder of how huge the water management world is.
